The Aquincum Museum and the surrounding open air archaeological park introduce the biggest collection of intact Roman era findings of Hungary and Central Europe. This institution is the most significant workshop of the ancient Roman age researches. Since 2007 the Museum has been open to the public in wintertime as well. The Museum has touristic programmes around the year and the visitors can take part in multilingual (Hungarian, English, German, French) presentations or museum pedagogical sessions. The institution also provides online and hard-copy publications.
The historical theme park of Azaum Roman Military Camp is the part of the international thematic tourist route called “Romans along the River Danube”. The visitors can enter to the site through the gate of the Roman encampment guarded by a tower.
